You’re at a bus stop surrounded by darkness. You can’t remember what brought you here, and beyond the comfort of its steel walls is an eerie emptiness.

Transfer Point is an adventure game about regret, forgiveness, and email. It combines point-and-click gameplay with the freedom and fun of typed commands. To unravel its mysteries, you’ll need to explore unusual places, solve peculiar puzzles, and find a decent Wi-Fi connection. Available now for your Macintosh® computer, or any modern web browser.

Transfer Point was created in World Builder, a program for the original Macintosh released in 1986. The game was made live on Twitch from March 2023 through June 2024, with the help of many wonderful people. Together we explored World Builder’s important place in the history of adventure games and multimedia creation, and learned that anyone can still have fun making new things with old software.
